Dr. Srinivasa Rao Mentreddy of the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences at Alabama A&M University will speak on turmeric varieties for commercial production in AL and exotic plant cultivation with sustainable and organic growing techniques. Additionally, the Organic Guru, Guru Maya, will share his findings from growing Southeast Asian plant varieties in Northern AL.
