In collaboration with Tuskegee University, come out to Marie McGruder’s historic farm, McGruder Farms in Sawyerville, AL, to learn about how hemp production can work for you. McGruder Farms is a family-owned full-scale all-natural regenerative farm. The land has been in the McGruder family since 1877 and it had been passed down by the ancestors and the indigenous people who are the original land stewards. In this workshop, you’ll learn the ins and outs of Hemp and how to make all that biomass work for your farm. We’ll discuss Organic practices and the Organic Certification process. We’ll wrap our day up with a special Organic Food Tasting in collaboration with the amazing Chef Yawah. Tuskegee University is an Equal Opportunity employer and provider.
