This session will cover the entirety of small fruit production, from site selection to harvest, of brambles, strawberries, blueberries, and grapes. Special attention will be given to production practices that can be utilized for organic systems and the use of Integrated Pest Management. Both sustainable and climate-smart practices will be highlighted.

Presenter: Evan Lentz is an Assistant Extension Educator at the University of Connecticut specializing in Commercial Fruit Production and Integrated Pest Management. His ongoing projects include fruit IPM and pest monitoring, niche crops and alternative production systems, precision agriculture technology, and climate smart fruit production.

Space is limited for in-person attendance, so the event will also be livestreamed via Zoom. Please let us know if you need to cancel your in-person registration for any reason.
