Join Oxford College Farm and Georgia Organics for a workshop and field day on October 7th! Participants will learn everything they need to know to start using cover crops on their organic farm. The event will be a mix of classroom-style learning and hands-on demonstrations of cover crop planting. Cover crops are a key practice, along with crop rotation, on this and any other certified organic farm. This field day will give teach you the why and how of using cover crops successfully. Learn from an expert who has over 25 years of experience using cover crops to enhance fertility, manage insect pests ecologically, reduce weed pressure, and mitigate crop disease.
