Join Florida Organic Growers and 4Roots from 10am – 2pm for an informative session on pest, weeds, and disease management, as well as key organic practices for fruits and vegetables presented by Ben McLean III of McLean Family Farms. Learn about the benefits of organic farming and how it can enhance the viability of your farming business. This workshop is designed for both beginner and intermediate level farmers to gain knowledge of a wide variety of practices and strategies that have been used for over 20 years by McLean Family Farms. An overview of approved materials and a demonstration of methods will be provided.

The workshop will be held on August 16th at 4Roots Campus located at 1101 N. John Young Parkway, Orlando, FL 32804.

Please be aware this is an on-farm event. It is recommended attendees wear closed-toed shoes and be prepared for outdoor weather, including bringing hats, sunglasses and water.
