Daryl and Linda operate Lassila Farms, a 4th generation family farm located just east of Great Falls. This tour will include overviews and discussion on organic farming practices and inputs used, crop rotations, green manure plow downs, weed controls and obstacles, and transitioning cycles for organics. Montana State University will also give an overview on an established Thistle Fusarium Bio‐Control Plot, in collaboration with the Organic Advisory and Education Council. The event is open to the public, and lunch is provided.
