Karl Palmberg of Sunlight and Rain Farm began his journey into grass-fed beef when he transition his 500 acre row-crop farm into alfalfa because of time management needs and off farm demands. Since then he continues to produce high quality alfalfa hay while also integrating perennial pastures, cover crops, and fermented forage supplemented grazing.
